The Webster University men's basketball team had seven members named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 2009-2010 'Honors Court,' which recognized players who excelled in academics this past year.  The total of seven players tied Webster for the second highest number named for any one college in the U.S.

The summer of 2010 saw another successful round of sports camps offered by various Webster University Athletics programs. Women's volleyball, and men's and women's basketball, had the largest number of participants ever for all three sports. The camps offer children, of a wide variety of ages, to improve their skills in a sport in a competitive but fun atmosphere.
Webster University finished 128th out of 448 NCAA Division III programs in the final standings for the Directors Cup, awarded by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), for the 2009-10 school year. Webster had the highest finish in Cup standings among the nine member schools of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
