Lockett/Meyer Pull 'Double' Duty in Gorlok Win

The Webster University women’s basketball team slipped back into first-place in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with an 80-69 win at Eureka College (IL) on February 6. The Gorloks are 10-2 in the SLIAC and pulled a half-game ahead of idle Fontbonne University. Webster is 15-6 overall, and with one more victory can match the second highest victory total in the program’s history (16).


	Gorloks Tame Tabbies, 74-46 The Webster University women's basketball team kept a grip on first-place in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a 74-46 win over Greenville College (IL) at Grant Gymnasium on February 3. Webster remains tied for first with a 9-2 record in the SLIAC and are 14-6 overall. The 14 wins are the most for a Gorlok squad since 2005-06.

Barissa Ford (JR, Clayton HS, STL) led a first half run to pull the Gorloks even with the Bluejays, and the team took firm control in the second half to secure the win.
