The Webster University women's cross-country team finished sixth out of 16 teams at the Washington University Early Bird on September 4, at Forest Park. The sixth place finish placed the Gorloks ahead of r three other St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams in the meet. The men's team finished 16th out of 18 in its field.

The Webster University men's and women's cross-country teams came out on top in a dual match at Westminster College on September 1, in Fulton, MO. The teams won the combined meet, where the men and women competed as one squad, 24-31.

The Webster University men's and women's cross country teams, coming off one of Webster's strongest seasons ever, look forward to continued growth and improvement during the 2010 season, The young Gorlok squads, coming off their first-ever appearance at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships, will be bolstered by a strong recruiting class in 2010.

Four freshmen Webster University cross-country runners posted personal best times in the NCAA III Midwest Regional at Winneconne, WI, on November 14. The four who entered, two men and two women, all set season highs in the most competitive field they had seen this year.

The men and women's cross-country teams, with many runners experiencing their first St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship, fared well as two freshmen women earned Second Team All-Conference honors. The champioships were held at Principia College (IL) on October 31.

The men and women's cross-country teams made across the board improvements at the H.W. Wright Classic in Decatur, IL, on October 16. While freshmen Jessica Parkman (Peru HS, IN) and Jane McKibben (Lindbergh HS, STL) finished fourth and fifth on the women's side, numerous individuals on both teams set personal highs.
