The Webster University men's golf team started off the 2010-11 season with the Gorlok Fall Opener, a tri-meet at Sunset CC on September 1. Dan Klipsch (SO, Joliet Catholic, IL) led the Gorloks at 76, with Kaleb Kessler (FR, Sparta HS, IL) and Dan Griener (JR, Meramec CC) two strokes behind at 78. Webster finished with a 321, one stroke behind Lindenwood-Belleville's 320. McKendree University (IL) finished third with a 329.

Webster University men's golf had a strong showing in the team's qualifying rounds at Sunset Country Club in St. Louis, and Roland Barkau Golf Course in Okawville, IL, on August 18, 19, and 23. Ten Krobteeranon (FR, American School of Bangkok, Thailand) managed to edge out Kyler Scott (SO, Culver Academy, IN) and Robby Meeh (SR, Lindbergh HS, STL) for low score. Scott and Meeh were St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 2010 First Team All-Conference members.

The Webster University men's golf team had standout performances by Robby Meeh (JR, Lindbergh HS, STL) and Kyler Scott (SO, Culver Academy, IN), and finished in third place in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament. Meeh and Scott both shot a 238, which earned them All-Conference honors in the three-round event, that took place at Timber Lakes Golf Club on April 26-27.

#Will Savage# and #Kyler Scott# have been named St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Players of the Week for April 19-25. This is the second time this year that Scott has been honored. Savage last received the honor in 2009.

The Webster University men's golf team participated in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference "Preview" golf meet at the Timberlakes Golf Club in Staunton, IL, on April 19. The Gorloks finished with a season-low score of 306, beating their previous best eight strokes.

The Webster University men's golf team made significant strides at the Big Blue Spring Classic in Decatur, IL, on April 9-10. Webster's team score of 636 placed the Gorloks ninth out of 17 teams, shaved 30 strokes off its score from its past two tournaments, and was its lowest two-round score for the 2009-10 season.

#Victor Valdez#, who led a 35-run attack in a double-header vs. Washington University, and #Kyler Scott# , who finished second in Webster's Gorlok Spring Invitational, were named St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Players of the Week for March 29-April 4.
