The success of the Webster University softball team was reflected in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference post-season honors for the 2010 season. Head softball coach Chris Eaton, was named the SLIAC Coach of the Year and seven Gorloks were selected to the SLIAC All-Conference Teams. In addition, #Jessica Arcangel# (FR. St. Lucy's Priory, CA) was chosen the SLIAC 2010 Newcomer of the Year.

The Webster University women's softball season closed the door on a successful 2010 campaign with a loss in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship to Fontbonne University, 7-3, at ABC Park on May 8. Despite battling their way out of the 'losers' bracket to force a one-game showdown, the Gorlok's potent offense couldn't break through against solid Griffin relief pitching after taking an early lead.

Facing elimination, the Gorloks picked up two wins,11-0 over Eureka College (IL), and 3-0 over Fontbonne University, on May 7 at ABC Park. Webster excelled in all aspects of the game as strong starting pitching, an offense infused with power, and a stout defense, secured both victories.
