The Webster University men's and women's tennis teams earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team awards for 2010. In addition to the team awards, 12 individuals earned ITA Scholar/Athlete awards for 2010.

The Webster University women's tennis team captured its first St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title, and earned its first trip to the NCAA Tournament by defeating Greenville College (IL), 5-1, at the St. Clair Tennis Center on April 24. The men's squad won its semi-final match, but fell in the conference championship to Westminster College.

Today's men's and women's SLIAC Tennis Tournament has been moved to Principia College and will start at 10 AM. The tournament was originally scheduled for the Webster Groves Rec Center, but has been moved due to inclement weather.

The Webster University men's and women's tennis teams' performance in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Individuals Tournament reflected the successful seasons each has had. Eight Gorloks captured eight different flights, and First Team, All-Conference honors. The tournament took place at the Dwight D. Davis Memorial Tennis Center in Forest Park on April16-17.

The Webster University men's tennis team set records for most wins in a season and most consecutive victories by beating Principia College (9-0) and Greenville College (5-4) in Greenville, IL, on April 10. The Gorloks have 10 wins on the season, surpassing the 1995 total of eight, and have won six straight matches, eclipsing the previous mark of four in a row.

The Webster University men's and women's tennis teams picked up wins at Eureka College (IL) on April 8. The women finished the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schedule unbeaten (6-0) for a second straight season by downing Eureka, 7-2. The men improved its SLIAC record to 2-1 and 8-3 overall with a 9-0 win over the Red Devils.

The Webster University men's tennis team won back to back home matches on April 2-3, beating Maryville University, 7-2, and Fontbonne University 9-0. The Gorloks ran their season record to 7-3, and have won three straight, as they head into the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference portion of their spring schedule.
