Webster University advanced to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament championship for the sixth straight season by defeating Greenville College (IL), 3-1, on November 5 at the Soccer Park.

The Gorloks will face Principia College at Elsah, IL, on November 7 at 3:30 p,m.  Webster and Principia have met in 2004, 2006, and 2008, with all three finals decided in overtime.  Webster had to first take care of business in the semi-final to ensure a rematch.

Sophomore Morgan Milfeld (DeSoto HS, MO) put Webster on top at 26:30 of the first half off a pass by junior Kelsey McClure (Hickman HS, MO).  Senior Jesse Schellerup (Francis Howell Central HS, STL) scored what proved to be the game winner at 51:30.

Junior Christy Capkovic (Mehlville HS, STL) finished the Webster scoring with her 32nd goal, adding to her NCAA leading total and her Webster single season record.  GK Shelby Wade (Francis Howell HS, STL) had the win in goal.  Her record is 13-2 on the season.

The Gorloks are 15-3 overall on the season.  This is the 10th time in the team's 11-year history that they have reached the 15 win mark.
