Webster's O'Toole SLIAC Volleyball Defensive Player Of The Year

Siebenmorgen and Knowles Join O'Toole On All-Conference

After a stellar career, Webster's Katie O'Toole ended it in style being chosen the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Year.  O'Toole (SR, St. Louis, MO/Lutheran South) also earned a spot on the All-Conference First Team as she is the first Webster player since Sam Kersting to win the POY award since 2013.

O'Toole ended her career as the all-time digs leader in Webster history with 1929 and second in matches played at 132.  She also was second on the Webster career list in digs per set at 4.67.  O'Toole finished the season with 659 digs

Landing on the All-Conference Second Team was Jory Siebenmogen (SR, Eureka, MO/Eureka).  She had 336 kills on the year and a .262 attack percent.  Siebenmorgen also had seven solo blocks and 60 block assists on the year.  Siebenmorgen averaged 2.97 kills per set.

Emily Knowles (SR, Belleville, IL/Mascoutah) was an All-Conference Third Team selection.  Knowles finished the year with 214 kills, 22 solo blocks and 80 block assists.  Knowles was also named to the 2016 SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
