Most Memorable Event During Athletic Career at Webster: (11-04-06) Winning the SLIAC Conference Tournament my senior year and being part of the first volleyball team in school history to receive a bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament. (10-24-06) On Senior Night, my then-boyfriend, Bryan, proposed to me between games 2 and 3 in front of the whole gymnasium filled with my family and closest friends. He painted this huge banner that some friends spread out across the top of the bleachers that read “Melanie, Will You Marry Me?” One of the most memorable events of my life, bar none!
