Will Savage, coming off the finest pitching season in Gorlok baseball annals, has signed with the Milledgeville Capitals of the Peach State League in Georgia. The 2010 graduate made his debut for the Capitals on June 24, starting the game and leaving his team with a 3-1 lead after pitching six strong innings. He did not figure in the decision as the Capitals bullpen couldn't hold the lead.

Webster University ranked 24th nationally in the final Amercian Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball NCAA III poll. The Gorloks, who wound up 35-11 on the season, received 53 points.

Will Savage (SR, Benet Academy, IL) was named to the 2010 Rawlings/ABCA All-American First Team as a pitcher. Savage becomes the first Webster University men's baseball player to be chosen to the first team, and just the third in the program's history to be named an All-American.

The Webster University men’s baseball team ended a memorable season, losing 13-8 to Buena Vista University (IA) in the NCAA III Central Regional semi-finals. Playing its second game of the day, Webster fell behind early, then mounted a comeback that fell short. Still, it was a year for the record books as numerous team and individual marks were set.

The Webster University men's baseball team's outstanding season in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference was recognized by 13 different players being selected to the All-Conference teams. #Will Savage# (SR, Benet Academy, IL) and #Cody Stevenson# (FR, Centralia HS, IL) led the Gorloks with First Team honors, and Stevenson was named Newcomer of the Year.
